You can delete your account and everything in it yourself, at any time. You do not need to ask us, and you do not need to give a reason. There is no grace period and no waiting list — it happens when you confirm it.
You do not need the Android app installed to do this — the same app runs in any browser at proonthewaylite.com/app.
Email support@proonthewaylite.com from the address the account uses, and say you want it deleted. We will do it and reply to confirm, normally within a few days.
Use this if you have lost access to the account, or cannot sign in for any other reason.

Anything somebody else shared with you belongs to them and is left alone. You simply lose access to it.
We keep a one-way hash of your email address — a scrambled fingerprint that cannot be turned back into the address — together with the date and a count of how many times an account on it has been deleted.
It exists for one reason: so that deleting an account and signing up again does not hand out an unlimited series of free trials. It is not readable, it is not used to contact you, it is never shared, and it is not linked to any of your records — those are gone.
If you would rather we did not keep even that, say so in your email and we will remove it as well. You should know that signing up again afterwards will look like a brand-new address to us.
Deleted records are removed from the live database straight away. Dated database backups are kept for operational recovery and are overwritten in the normal course of things; a copy of a deleted record may persist in one of those for a short period before it is rotated out. Backups are never used to serve the app and are not readable from it.
